BioBeing There Magazine is an online music & film magazine found at www.beingtheremag.com and is currently online-only. We launched August 2004, and update every other month. We currently get upwards of 17,000 unique visitors per month.
Being There is unique in its approach, both in what it reviews and what it features each month. We disregard levels of popularity, instead focusing on what we and our readers deem artistically credible. A typical issue of Being There features artists who are currently in the Billboard charts, alongside unsigned bands eager to have their music exposed. Both types of artist are treated with equal importance and written about with equal enthusiasm.
This LJ is basically a place for updates on the mag, and to promote our new issues. Feedback is always welcome!
